
Chicken Heart Strogonoff
The little chicken heart can be used in the barbecue, as a snack or sautéed, being very popular in most Brazilian homes! That's why the recipe we separate today is: chicken heart stroganoff!
The recipe takes just 40 minutes to prepare and uses the same ingredients used in a traditional stroganoff. And the best thing is that the Copacol Heart is already seasoned and ready to be used!

600g Copacol Seasoned Heart

1 cup of wheat flour (100 g)

100g unsalted butter

4 tablespoons of olive oil (40 ml)

1 large chopped onion

2 crushed garlic cloves

5 large chopped tomatoes
-
3 cups of water (700 ml)

1 box/can of sour cream
-
2 tablespoons of mustard

Salt and pepper to season

1 freshly grated nutmeg

1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
__ __ Preparation mode
Place a large pot over high heat to heat,
In a bowl, place the hearts, properly thawed and cleaned.
In a plate add the wheat flour and pass each unit in it, until completely covered.
Add the butter to the pan and then a portion of heart to fry, without overfilling.
Fry until golden,
Repeat the process until all units are fried, set aside.

In the same pan, add the olive oil and when it is hot enough, add the onions to fry,
After browning, add the crushed garlic and after frying, add the chopped tomato, fry a little more and add the water.
Season with salt and pepper, taste, close the pan and let it cook for 15 minutes.

Open the pan, add the hearts to the sauce.
Add the mustard, mix well and cook for 6 minutes, with the lid on.
Turn off the heat, add the cream and the grated nutmeg.
Mix it all up. Taste and adjust salt to taste.
Serve with white rice and whatever else you prefer.
